Fred & Vera's E-Session
On a day as nice as today, it's hard to believe that it's the end of December. We went to Cox Arboretum for a wonderful engagement session. The subtle tones of wintertime created the perfect backdrop to capture some beautiful and magical moments. I so much enjoyed Vera's excitement over some of the images she saw on the camera screen- and I couldn't wait to process them for her, so I spent the evening working on them.
Fred and Vera are a wonderful couple- he's a handsome American gentleman and she's a beauty from Albania. She came here for schooling at UD and Sinclair, fell in love with our country, found the love of her life and decided to stay :) I'm really looking forward to shooting their wedding in a few weeks!

Nikki & Jason
Nikki's dad, Brian, has been a friend of mine for many years and is an excellent photographer. I was honored when the family asked me to help capture their wedding. For the first time in years, I was actually nervous about shooting a wedding. I mentioned this to Brian while we were shooting the family photos in the church. He gave me a huge hug and told me to just "do your job, that's why we hired you". What a great compliment. The day was shared with fellow photographer, Jeff Unroe. Although Jeff and I had never worked together, everything went so smoothly and we had a great time.
The weather was crisp and cool but cloudy. We were able to sneak from the reception to grab a few shots outside the church just as the sun was peering from the clouds to bless us with gorgeous evening light.
Nikki & Jason are a beautiful people that make a great couple... hugs and thanks to them for allowing me to be a part of their day!
